Lynne’s Philosophy

Naturopathy is a philosophy which encompasses a view of life, a model for living a full life. The word Naturopathy is a Greek-Latin hybrid which can be defined as “being close to or benefiting from nature.” The roots of Naturopathy are found in the ancient Greece of Hippocrates, who recognized and wrote about the healing power of nature. From the beginning it has been deeply concerned with lifestyle.  I utilize a three part program for health restoration which consists of:

REMOVE…remove/reduce toxic load created by lifestyle and other factors such as yeast, mold, parasites, viruses, bacteria, heavy metals, etc. through detoxification.

SUPPORT…Support the body through the detoxification process with proper nutrition, lifestyle changes and massage/bodywork

REBUILD…Rebuild with nutritional supplementation, vitamins, minerals, homeopathy, herbology and massage therapy

I do not treat disease but rather I find deficiencies and toxicities in the body and help restore it with nutrition, supplements, herbology, homeopathic remedies and massage therapy.

The specific protocols for “dis-ease” recovery is based on the type of disease and the specific deficiencies/toxicities that the individual has. Everyone is unique and has different excesses and deficiencies which necessitates an individual program. In general, the recommendations include education, detoxification, lifestyle modification, supplementation, and nutrition with an emphasis on nutrition.

By harnessing the incredible healing power of nature and science, a healthy human body can self-regulate and self-repair. A well nourished body can better manage and heal. While nutrition is not the sole therapy for all diseases, nutritional therapy is an essential component of comprehensive wellness care.
